About me

Hi there and welcome to my blog. My name is Michelle and I love all things crafty (except glitter, 
that stuff gets EVERYWHERE!). I'm a stay at home mum to 3 little munchkins and 2 fur babies and to save my sanity I knit, sew,  cross stitch, crochet, make salt dough decorations - basically anything I can lay my hands on to keep them busy and relax my mind from the trials and tribulations of  being a parent.

I first got into crafting through my Nanna. She was an amazingly talented lady and some of my earliest memories involve her and her sewing machine. I remember sitting side by side with her knitting teddies to send to Africa, crocheting granny squares and her endless patience as I used her sewing machine (which I now have) to sew little dresses for my dolls and to make stuffed toys.

This blog has started out as a documentation of what I've been making that week from pillows, to jumpers, from cross stitch kits to kitchen refits. I hope in the future to do more reviews of projects I have completed as well as publish any patterns I create.
